Motor Mouth

Well, I still don't like NASCAR, and Janet Evanovich delivers another dependably quick read. My biggest problem was that I kept confusing this story line with the one from the new Jennifer Crusie action-romance. The Motor Mouth heroine being a great mechanic is a nice touch, but she's not appreciably different enough from Stephanie Plum to really make it work for me. The bumbling antics and constant dead bodies made the story a little too jagged and not the caper adventure it was probably intended to be. My whining aside, I would probably read another one in this series.
