I read when I put this book on request that it was a sequel to "What My Mother Doesn't Know" which I knew that I had read, but didn't really remember. Luckily, you don't have to have read (or remember) the first book to really enjoy this one.

Written in free verse (non-rhyming poetry), this book is a very fast read. Sonya Sones does an incredible job of capturing Robin's feelings about Sophia, about life, and about being a fourteen year old boy.
